Though the major points are well said, I am amazed at the lack of information and detail on our ability to actually measure the ability and desire of an individual to accept new concepts. Aspects of the Myers Briggs or 16Types assessments can do this as well as the Kirton KAI adaptive-innovative assessment. These assessments have been around for 50 years, are extremely well validated, and have been used for years to assist teams in this area.
